Parade/March Information
Capital City Pride holds a 3 Day Festival at the end of June every year. Our beloved Pride Parade takes place on the Sunday of our 3 Day Fest.
We want to ensure we make space for everyone with all their Pride dreams. Half the community would like an “Organized Portion” of the Parade and the other half of our beloved community would like to March & Rally - because of this we have split up the time into two sections as stated below.
Pride Parade Itinerary:
Date/Time: Sunday, June 29th, 2025 from 11:00AM - 2:00PM
Organized Pride Parade: 11:00AM - 1:00PM
Open Community March: 1:00PM - 1:45PM

Route: Tivoli Fountain (Capitol Campus) along Capitol Way South and ending at Heritage Park.
Starting Location: Tivoli Fountain - 1225 Capitol Way S, Olympia, WA 98501
Ending Location: At Heritage Park there will be DJs and Food Trucks awaiting your arrival. Bring your blankets and picnic baskets to camp out with Pride.
Fees are one flat fee - per person/group or organization; these fees are to help cover the costs of the permits.
ZERO WASTE:
Capital City Pride is a ZERO WASTE Festival. DO NOT bring excessive amounts of plastic give-a-ways. During our parade is NOT the time to toss wasteful plastic promotional items or candy into the crowds and streets. If you have swag you would like to distribute, please make environmentally conscious decisions when purchasing products as have your give-a-ways at your booth during our Saturday event. Mother Nature and the Land thanks you.

We are so excited you are interested in marching with Olympia’s Capital City Pride for 2025. By completing the application below, you will be submitting your information to our selection team, who will be in touch with additional details. No payment will be taken at this time.
A confirmation application will be sent to those who are accepted with a payment link.
PLEASE NOTE: For the safety of our community - this application is to participate in the “Organized Pride Parade” from 11AM - 1:00PM.
The “Organized Pride Parade” holds space for our community sponsors, drag queens, vendors and paying participants who love and want to support Pride. The “Organized Pride Parade” is also created for those who need ADA space and for our elders - so everyone can safely experience Queer Joy while Marching with Pride.
*If you are a sponsor or a booth vendor - no need to apply - your fee is automatically waved. If you are a sponsor or a booth vendor make sure to indicate in your sponsor or booth application you would like to participate and we will put you on the list!
