Capital City Pride Goes WAM!!

Thanks to ArtsWA.gov, Capital City Pride is able and honored to provide FREE art & healing focused workshops to & for the lgbtqia2s+ military community.

Pride believes the stage is a place to heal & we are excited to share our healing knowledge & art culture with you!

The Pride Goes WAM! program will provide four quarters of workshops; each quarter ending with a showcase of talent, skill, knowledge, & fun! Lead by theater educator, Meg Rosenberg, you will go on an adventure of storytelling, acting, play-writing, & “The Big Picture”.

Joining the Pride Goes WAM! program will gain you access to all our major events, get you on the main stage and hopefully help you attain a better sense of peace and self. We look forward to connecting, collaborating & healing with you.

Meet Meg Rosenberg

Meg Rosenberg is thrilled to be leading the Pride Goes WAM! program!

Meg is a dedicated community member, public servant, and artist who thrives on creating spaces of connection and shared learning. Meg is the Director, Owner, & Community Weaver of Gossamer Strategies LLC. As an active Olympia-based theatre artist, Meg performs, produces, and teaches locally, most recently with Sparrow Studios. You may have seen Meg’s work on stage with The Heartsparkle Players, Brave Practice Playback Theatre Company, or at Olympia Family Theater. Meg is excited to provide the LGBTQ+ Military Community an opportunity through this program to express themselves, find their creative voice, and heal through the power of community theatre.
