Thank you for connecting with Pride about Our Professional Development Program. This is a wonderful avenue for you to learn in an inclusive space primarily by and from Professional LGBTQIA2S+ Artists and other Business Professionals. We had taken a survey from the community and it had stated most LGBTQIA2S+ people has past trauma with their work environment due to systemic oppression, so we created this path to encourage the community to grow together.

Audio & Tech

Curious about live-sound and want to learn from a bunch of queers with years of experience? We have all sorts of events with a variety of artists. You can get hands on training with:

  • evaluating a venue for acoustics

  • configuring equipment for show runs

  • testing equipment during a run through

  • operating AV systems

  • monitoring video quality

  • interfacing with event staff

Event Magic

Pride is not just a three day festival. We have events all year long and are always happy to train individuals on how we operate our events.

Some signature events are:

  • Pride’s Variety Show

  • Homo For The Holigays

Design & Branding

Are you a graphic geek? Do you love photography and type face? Let’s connect and talk about brand guides!

This is a much needed experience to have and will be useful for all your future events! We can teach you the tricks of the trade of this ever evolving career path. You’ll get hands on experience with:

  • A/B testing

  • impactful font design

  • capturing the right moments

  • color theory for advertisements

  • scheduling posts

  • outreach tactics

Are you an emerging artist who wants to get on stage, but maybe needs some assistance with your performance, attire, music collection or more? Pride has a handful of artists that would love to collaborate and educate you on the skills they have learned over the years!

Have someone in mind? Just let us know and we can make the connection for you. Or maybe you just want to try out a style of entertainment and need the stage to do it! We can help you get there.
