Capital City Pride is the non-profit organization that presents the annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Parade and Festival in Downtown Olympia, WA. 

Our Team

Our team is comprised of volunteer leaders. At Pride, we are fortunate to have a dedicated group of individuals who selflessly give their time and expertise to support our organization. Our volunteer team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from various professional backgrounds, including marketing, journalism, and community activism. Their passion for promoting LGBTQIA2S+ awareness and acceptance is what drives our mission forward. These exceptional individuals generously contribute their skills, insights, and energy to help shape our strategic direction, organize events, and create impactful initiatives that make a positive difference in the Olympia LGBTQIA2S+ community. Their unwavering commitment and collaborative spirit inspire us all to work towards a more inclusive and equitable future.

Wild

Creative Event Producer & Festival Director

Natalie “Wildtiny” Coblentz (They/Them) joined Capital City Pride in 2019 as Stage Manager, knocked out the first #VirtuOly2020 Pride and has stepped into the Event Producer, Festival Director and Lighting Designer role for the Capital City Pride family. They are a maker, creativepro and a cultivator of projects. They train and set up the Pride Team for success. Wild is a Queer Latinx Artist who is proud to be living in the creative City of Olympia.

Roxy

AV Lead

Roxy Boggio (she/they) joined Pride’s mission in 2021 delivering AV and live streaming. Roxy’s role includes carefully coordinating all things audiovisual and running sound for Capital City Pride’s main stage at the Port Plaza as well as various queer-centered and friendly events. They’re also DJing for Olympia’s monthly Diva Drag Brunch + KAOS Community Radio’s Divine Unheard, airing empowering tracks by LGBTQIA2S+ and women artists Thursdays 1-3pm on 89.3FM.

Eva

Yummies Curator & Sponsorship Guru

Eva (she/her/ella) is the liaison between the Food, Drinks, Beverages, Snacks, Treats and the Booths. She also serves as our Sponsorship Guru.

Sullivan

Sullivan is a talented artist, performer, poet, and producer who made the move to this area in 2017 with their partner and two children. As the creative mind behind the personas Luna DeLyte and Ra Delyte, they bring the magic of drag and burlesque to audiences throughout the PNW, drawing inspiration from the Sun and Moon. They co-produce Olympia's Free Range Drag, where "All Drag is Valid".  They are also a core cast member of The Fruit Salad Show that provide intergenerational queer live community events. Additionally, Sullivan is excited to be a part of the Capital City Pride community as the Volunteer Coordinator for 2024.

Kiera

Pride Story Project & Live Muralist

Kiera joined Capital City Pride in 2022 when they moved to Olympia. Kiera has an B.A. in Arts Education and a PhD in Special Education. They have spent many years working in schools, community settings, and nonprofits - committed to bringing art and learning to all. Kiera is a visual artist and musician and brings their expertise and enthusiasm to the pride committee. 

Their current project is the Pride Stories Project.

Aherlow

Connection Cultivator

Aherlow Kasjaka (they/them) is a collaborator, a peacemaker, and a ball of love that can't wait to build connections in the community. They support the Capital City Pride family with planning and coordinating the operational side of events like the annual pride parade and queer art exhibits.

Deer & Stephanie

Environmental Stewards (Percival Landing)

DeerLynn Joy Kramer (Deer) they/she and Stephanie Scott she/her are two old-school queer planeteers, this power couple joined the Capital City Pride team in 2023.  They are back this year to lead the grounds management team and work with the Port and city to keep the Pride celebration green and clean. Queer-elders-in-training, they can be found supporting local queer youth and artists, hanging out with their cats, and climbing mountains.

Jasper

Hospitality

Jasper (they/them) is a transgender nonbinary queer person with a deep commitment to advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights. In their professional world they have chaired both agency wide and statewide LGBTQ+ groups, leading initiatives like designing a training on pronouns and one on how to support trans and non-binary customers, both of which are now available for any state employees to take. Jasper has community based experiences ranging from volunteer, intern, and council member with LGBTQ+ organizations across the country. When they aren't fighting for collective liberation, they can be found spending time with their chosen family, traveling, or snuggling up with a squishmallow.

Brandon

Website Administrator

Brandon Humphries currently works at the Lewis, Mason, Thurston Area Agency on Aging. He loves working in an industry where he can be of service to those in need. In his spare time he loves to cook, eat breakfast food, and tinker with the latest in gadgetry.
